Essay Prompts from the Common App of 2015-2016.

The Common Application, popularly known as the Common App, has released its new, altered list of essay prompts for undergraduates who are going to try their luck this year: some points were changed, and one was replaced with something completely new, so if you’ve been practicing on last year’s prompts it’s time to upgrade.

The folks at the Common Application announced the five essay prompts students will choose from to write their core essay for the coming college admissions “season.” I’m sharing them below. In general, I think they improved upon the options, and the prompts will elicit more interesting and meaningful college application essays. Bravo Common App!
